Nepali Congress leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has called a meeting with leaders and cadres of his faction.
Deuba and Koirala groups are against the decision of the Election Commission to grant recognition to Nepali Congress led by Gagan Thapa.
While Deuba group reached the Supreme Court to file a petition against the decision of the Election Commission, Shekhar has called a separate meeting.
According to a source close to Shekhar, the meeting is taking place at Anupm Foodland in Battisputali at 1 pm. Shekhar group was not seen when the Deuba group reached Supreme Court to file the petition.
However, the writ petition bears the signatures of CWC members loyal to Koirala.
