More than 70% votes cast in Bagmati Province as of noon

More than 70 percent voters have cast their votes in the National Assembly elections in Bagmati Province by noon today.

Eighty one people have voted for the Provincial Assembly and 217 representatives have cast their votes for the Local Level. There are currently 104 MPs in the Bagmati Provincial Assembly.

Six lawmakers from Bagmati Province had resigned to participate in the House of Representatives elections. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) did not participate in the National Assembly elections.

Similarly, there are 235 voters for the Local Level. The mayors of three cities have resigned to participate in the House of Representatives, resulting in the decrease in the number of votes by three.
