The benchmark index fell by a maximum of 3.12 percent today, with National Hydropower emerging as the top loser. The investors of this company lost Rs 6.90 per share, according to the NEPSE.
Himalayan Power Partners led the market in turnover, outpacing all other equities in today's session.
Earlier, on July 30, the NEPSE had posted a transaction of Rs 16.44 billion in a single day.
