President Paudel to visit Japan from Feb 1 to 4

The government has approved the schedule of President Ramchandra Paudel's upcoming visit to Japan.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar on Thursday decided to allow the delegation led by President Paudel to attend the program to be organized in Japan on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Nepal-Japan diplomatic relations, said Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal.

The delegation is scheduled to participate in the program to be organized in Japan from February 1 to 4. Also the Spokesperson of the government, Minister Aryal added that a decision was also taken to increase Nepal Police's ration scale and daily amount of ration effective from February 13.

The Cabinet meeting also decided to make public the report submitted by a committee formed to study and recommend measures for restructuring the Nepal Stock Exchange Limited.
