10 injured in Salyan automobile accident

Ten people sustained injuries in a vehicle accident that occurred at Khalanga in Sharada Municipality-2, Salyan on Monday afternoon.

The automobile, Ra 1 Ha 2195, heading to Khalanga Bazaar from Srinagar went out of control and fell some 500 meters down the road at 2 pm, the District Police Office said.

A total of 11 people were traveling in the automobile, according to the police.

The condition of 78-year-old man and three-year-old child among those injured is said to be critical.

The automobile driver, 25, who originally hails from Sharada Municipality-6, Arjun Dangi, is safe and sound. Police said they are investigating the case after taking Dangi into custody.

The injured are Tar Bahadur Reule, 78, of Siddha Kumakh-1, Sristi BK, 3, Bangad Kupinde-9, Dipak BK, 35, Siddha Kumakh-2, Resham Bahadur Nepali, 19, of Sharada Municipality-11, Dipak BK, 7, Bangad Kupinde-9, Sangita BK, 23, Bangad Kupinde Municipality-9.

Similarly, the other injured are Krishna Budhathoki, 23, Dang Babai Rural Municipality-6, Smriti Budhathoki, 3, Dang Babai Rural Municipality, Dhani Sunar, 38, Siddh Kumakh Rural Municipality-2, Pushpa Sunar, 39, Siddhakumakh Rural Municipality-2.
