Seven academicians to get Bijaya Malla Nai Shatabdi Puraskar

Seven literary figures from Nepal and India have been announced as the recipients of Bijaya Malla Nai Shatabdi Puraskar to be given on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of dramatist, poet and novelist Bijaya Malla.

The recipients were declared for their significant contributions to the creative and research works.

The Nai Academy stated that those recipients are Dr Rama Siwakoti, Dr Sadhana Panta, Dr Lekhraj Khatiwada, Dr Gopal Prasad Gaire, Dr Bhagawan Chandra Gyawali, Dr Nityananda Khatiwada and Prof Dr Krishnaraj Ghatani.

A meeting of the Nai Academy presided over by Indira Prasain took this decision to prize the academicians, it is said.
