Members of the Limbu community living and working across various sectors in Poland have officially formed the Yakthung Limbu Society Poland.
The assembly recently held at the Centrum Nepal Restaurant in the capital city of Warsaw successfully formed a 15-member ad-hoc committee led by Ganesh Sinjagu Limbu.
The newly elected executive team includes Sunita Lawati (patron), Harichandra Yonghang (vice president), Bijay Limbu (secretary), Labin Yonghang (joint secretary), Sadiksha Sambahamphe (treasurer).
Similarly, the members are Jony Sambahamphe, Nanda Mabuhang, Ashok Kandangwa, Santosh Chemjong, Kisan Limbu, Santosh Theguwa Limbu, Umesh Subba, Seema Limbu, Kumari Limbu, and Hangma Limbu.

The assembly appointed Ambika Hangbang as the Chief Advisor, supported by advisors Lokendra Ambung, Man Kumar Yakso, and Tikaram Sodemba.
The newly elected President, Ganesh Sinjagu Limbu, stated that the society's primary focus is to protect and promote Limbu language, script, and culture while supporting the welfare of the community in the diaspora.
"Our goal is to foster brotherhood and cooperation between the Nepali and Polish communities while ensuring our cultural identity remains vibrant for future generations," Limbu remarked.
The assembly, which also passed the organization's statute, was presided over by Sunita Lawati and moderated by Ambika Hangbang.
