Senior leader of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balendra Shah, and candidate Dr Amaresh Kumar Singh have jointly staged a "roadshow" as part of election campaign in Sarlahi.

Shah, who is currently on an electoral tour of the Madhesh Province, arrived in Sarlahi to lead the roadshow in Sarlahi-4 on Wednesday afternoon.

Amaresh Kumar Singh is contesting the March 5 election from this constituency as the RSP candidate.

In a significant shift, Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has also left his traditional stronghold of Kathmandu-4 to run as a candidate from Sarlahi-4.

To bolster his campaign, RSP candidate Singh brought senior leader and prime ministerial candidate Balendra Shah to his constituency, where the two staged a roadshow to hold sway among in the constituency.
