A meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentary party (PP) is called for Saturday (January 7).
The NC PP meet is being held in view of the first session of the newly-elected House of Representatives slated for January 9.
NC Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel said the party's PP meeting would take place at 1 pm at NC PP office in Singha Durbar.
NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba nominated MP Ramesh Lekhak as the chief whip on Tuesday.
After being nominated as the chief whip, Lekhak reached Dhumbarahi on Wednesday morning to meet President Deuba.
