Lumbini All Stars maintained their lead in the Nepal T20 League after defeating Kathmandu Knights by a whopping 102-run.
Kathmandu were all out after scoring 81 runs in 15.4 overs while chasing Lumbini's total target of 184 runs.
Lumbini, who won the toss and batted first at the Tribhuvan Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, lost six wickets in 17 overs and scored 183 runs.
The match was reduced to 17 over to adjust the delay as Kathmandu Knights players arrived late for the match.
Lumbini's Harry Tector, Ishan Pandey, and Kushal Bhurtel each took two wickets to stop Kathmandu's inning. Kishore Mahato, Vipul Sharma, and Harmeet Singh each grabbed a wicket as well.
Kathmandu Knights Basir Ahmed hit the highest 22 runs for his team. Kamal Airey contributed 16 runs. Gyanendra Malla and Lokesh Bam scored 15 runs each. None of other batsmen hit runs above 10.
Lumbini's Harmeet Singh and Lahiru Milantha exchanged a 98-run partnership before their first wicket fell. Singh's 70 runs was the highest in the match. He hit eight fours and two sixs in 26 balls. Milantha contributed 26 runs in form of two fours and one six in 29 balls.
Lumbini's Gulsan Jha was dismissed for 21, Harry Tector for 17, and Kushal Bhurtel for 15. Vipul Sharma scored 5 runs and Anil Sah stayed not-out for 16 runs.
Avinash Bohora of Kathmandu claimed three wickets on his own. Basir Ahmed grabbed two wickets, while Anil Kharel took one for Kathmandu Knights.
