Nepali Congress (NC) is going to hold an open question-answer session on the issues included in the election manifesto.

Party President Gagan Kumar Thapa is going to hold an open question-answer session on the election commitment paper unveiled in Janakpur yesterday.

President Thapa is going to take questions from the country and abroad about the pledge at the ‘Our Pledge, Your Questions’ program to be held at the City Hall in Kathmandu from 1 pm today (Thursday). NC spokesperson Devraj Chalise said that President Thapa is scheduled to provide a summary of the pledge through a large LED screen.

He said, "Nepali Congress will provide detailed information about the pledge paper made public in Janakpur, the capital of Madhesh, in Kathmandu on Thursday, and an open question-answer program has been organized on the contents included in it."

Spokesperson Chalise informed that arrangements are being made to use technology to ask questions directly from all over the world and the President will answer them directly.

Arrangements have been made to take questions from participants at the City Hall, the venue of the program, and President Thapa will answer them.

Nepali Congress has made public the outline of its plan to form a government under its own leadership and implement it in the next five years through a manifesto. The general public will be able to ask questions and express their curiosity about the issues covered in the election manifesto. This is the first time in Nepal's political history that citizens will question the election manifesto and the leaders of the respective parties will answer it publicly and directly.
