Three people have died in separate road accidents in different districtsof the country.
An 18-year-old boy died when a tractor hit an auto-rickshaw at Jaya Chowk in Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-6, Morang.
Police said that when a tractor, Ko 2 Ta 7838, hit an auto, Ko 1 Ha 6122, the auto driver, 18-year-old Sudip Thapa, a resident of the same area, died on the spot.
Police have taken the tractor driver into custody after the accident.
Similarly, a 21-year-old youth died in a road accident in Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-2, Sindhupalchowk.
Sujan Tamang, a resident of the same area, died when a Bolero vehicle, Ba Pr 01- 030 Cha 3480, hit a trailer of a container box in Naukilo, Bhotekoshi 2.
Police said that he was seriously injured in the accident and died during treatment at Dhulikhel Branch Hospital Hindi.
The driver who was injured in the accident is undergoing treatment at B and B Hospital, Kathmandu.
Similarly, one person died in a motorcycle accident in Gaidahawa Rural Municipality-7, Chhatrapura, Rupandehi.
Police have stated that the motorcycle driver, 42-year-old Sukram Yadav, a resident of the same area, died when the motorcycle, Lu 5 Pa 9899, lost control and crashed on Friday afternoon.
Yadav, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at City Hospital, Bhairahawa.
