The closure of airspace in the Middle East following the US and Israel's military attack on Iran has also had an impact on Nepal.
Air travel has been banned in many countries in the Middle East. As a result, international flights from Tribhuvan International Airport to seven international airports in the Middle East have been canceled.
As a result, passengers are stranded at TIA due to the suspension of flights to Sharjah, Doha, Dubai, Kuwait City, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Dammam airports.
All flights from TIA on Saturday afternoon and night have been canceled, informed General Manager Teknath Sitaula of TIA.

He said that it is not certain when the suspended flights will resume. The TIA Office also published a notice stating that flights have been affected.
The airport office said, “Due to the recent airspace restrictions in the Middle East, some international flights may be delayed, rescheduled or canceled.”
The TIA Office has urged international flights to contact the relevant airline before arriving at the airport. The notice said, “Passengers are requested to compulsorily confirm the latest status of their flights before departing for the airport.”
