RSP's Sasmit Pokharel triples the lead against his rival in Kathmandu 5

Sasmit Pokharel of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is three times ahead of his nearest rival as the vote count is underway in Kathmandu Constituency-5.

According to the Office of the Returning Officer, in the vote counting conducted till 5:15 am on Thursday, Pokharel of RSP has received 3,700 votes.

His competitor Pradeep Paudel of Nepali Congress has received 1,078 votes. Ishwar Pokharel of CPN (UML) has received 699 votes.

Pokharel has taken the lead in this constituency since the beginning. He has been increasing the margin.
