The government has shuffled responsbility of two secretaries in the Ministry of Finance.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers today deputed Toyam Raya as Finance Secretary and Ram Prasad Ghimire as Revenue Secretary.
Raya has experience working in Inland Revenue, Customs departments and Ministry of Finance. He considered a cadre of Finance Ministry. Before this, Raya was in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
Earlier, Krishnahari Pushkar was serving as Finance Secretary.
Similarly, Ram Prasad Ghimire also possesses prior Finance Ministry experience. Prior to this, he was a secretary in the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority.
