Four killed, one injured in Chitwan auto accident

At least four persons died and one sustained injuries in a three-wheeler auto accident at Kalika municipality-9, Dabyatar in Chitwan.

According to the District Police Office Chitwan, the accident occurred today when the Auto (Bagmati Province 06-001 H 0315) heading to Shaktikhor from Uperdangadhi went out of control and overturned into a drainage.

In the accident, auto driver Purna Bik, 39, from Rapti Municipality-9, Bishnu Kumari Tamang, 56, from Rapti Municipality-8, Bini Tamang, 22, from Rapti Municipality-9, and Tilak Tamang, aged around 56, from the same location died during treatment at the Old Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur, informed District Police Office's Public Information Officer Rabindra Khanal.

Chini Kumari Gurung, 53, from Rapti Municipality-9, who was injured in the accident, is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.
