Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) inches closer to the three-million-vote mark in the proportional representation (PR) category.
According to the Election Commission, out of 5 million 905 thousand 595 votes counted, RSP alone received 2 million 895 thousand 493 votes.
Similarly, Nepali Congress received 971 thousand 656 votes, CPN-UML received 839 thousand 739 votes and Nepali Communist Party received 405 thousand 732 votes.
RPP is in fifth place in the proportional representation. It received 208 thousand 591 votes. Shram Sanskriti Party has 158 thousand 625 votes, Rastriya Pariwartan Party has 67 thousand 797 votes, Janata Samajwadi Party, Nepal obtained 77 thousand 402 votes, Janamat Party has 34 thousand 437 votes, Ekal Chinha Chakiya (stone grinder) has 28 thousand 332 votes and Nepal Workers and Peasants Party received 35 thousand 156 votes.
