Finance Minister Rameshwar Khanal has returned this diplomatic passport following the conclusion of the general elections. Minister Khanal informed to have returned his diplomatic passport via social media.
"Since the relevance of my diplomatic passport numbered DA 0002710 given to me in my capacity as the Finance Minister is over, I have told the administration department to return it to the passport department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," Khanal mentioned on Facebook.
He had received the diplomatic passport following his appointment as the Finance Minister in Sushila Karki-led government.
Khanal has returned his passport following the conclusion of the general elections and a news government is set to be formed.
