Senior leader of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Balendra Shah (Balen) has said that he will work in collaboration with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to further deepen bilateral ties.

Following RSP's landslide victory in the House of Representatives elections held on March 5, Indian Prime Minister Modi congratulated RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane and senior leader Shah. Taking to X, Modi wished them well for the formation of a new government.

A day later, Shah replied to Indian Prime Minister Modi via X. Commenting on Modi's post, Shah wrote, "I express my confidence that we will work together to further strengthen, deepen, and make more result-oriented the historical, close, and multi-faceted relations existing between Nepal and India in the coming days."

At the same time, Shah also congratulated the Indian government and the Indian people for winning the ICC T20 World Cup. "I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations to the Indian government and the Indian people for winning the World Cup title twice in a row," Shah said.
