Budhanilkantha School in Kathmandu has invited applications for the scholarship selection exam that begins at Grade 5.
Applications have been invited from meritorious children from underprivileged communities to study residentially from Grade 5 at Budhanilkantha School and partner schools under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology at free or subsidized fees.
In a notice issued by the school today, it is mentioned that interested children can apply for the scholarship examination by April 10.
According to the notice, students born between April 14, 2015 to April 13, 2017 and who have studied regularly in at least grades 3 and 4 in a community school in the district where their parents reside or in a neighboring district and have completed grade 4 in the academic session 2081 BS will be selected through an interview based on the merit of the written competitive examination results, representing the geographical area and target community.
The examination will be held on Saturday (April 11 from 11 am).
This program of Budhanilkantha School is being run at Sheetaladevi Secondary School, Dhankuta, Navajivan Secondary School, Jutpani, Kuleshwar Residential Secondary School, Kuleshwar, Balmandir Secondary School, Lumle, Janata Secondary School, Palpa, and Birendra Vidyamandir Secondary School, Tikapur.
