The Communist Party of China (CPC) has extended congratulations and best wishes to Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) for its success in the March 5 House of Representatives (HoR) elections.

In a congratulatory message issued by the International Department of the CPC, China has expressed readiness to work together with Nepal to deepen political mutual trust, promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and build an even closer China-Nepal community with a shared future for the benefits of both countries and peoples.

Chief of RSP's Department of International Relations Shishir Khanal shared the information based on a letter received to the party.

According to him, CPC through the letter has expected to bring the China-Nepal relations to a new height under the leadership of RSP President Lamichhane and senior leader Balendra Shah.

The CPC has expressed readiness to further strengthen exchanges and deepen mutual learning with RSP, so as to jointly play an active role in promoting the sustained, sound and stable development of bilateral relations, Khanal noted.

RSP has stated that it would place high emphasis on the relations with neighbors being committed to Nepal's independent foreign policy and principle of panchasheel.
