An Air Dynasty helicopter has crashed at Balabesi in Kopilasgadhi Rural Municipality-2, Khotang on Wednesday afternoon. The helicopter with call sign 9-NFQ crashed after it lost control and crashed into a slope during a failed landing.
The pilot attempted to land on a steep field near a residence, but as soon as the helicopter touched down, it lost control and the cockpit plowed into the soil.
There were six people on board the helicopter, including the pilot. According to the police, Kaji Bahadur Rai of Khotang was injured in the accident.

When it was about to crash, the pilot tried to stabilize and land. In a final attempt to stabilize the aircraft, the helicopter spun, striking its tail against the slope before the cockpit plowed into the soil. There are houses near the accident site.
According to DSP Prakash Budhathoki of the District Police Office, another Air Dynasty helicopter has reached the scene to bring the injured to Kathmandu for treatment.
