Hearing on the writ petition filed at the Supreme Court against the decision to withdraw offenses related to organized crime and money laundering against Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane will continue on Thursday.

The Court's spokesperson Ajun Prasad Koirala shared that the hearing will continue tomorrow after the hearing was not completed today. The hearing began on Tuesday before the division bench of Justices Binod Sharma and Abdul Aziz Musalman.

Earlier, a division bench of Supreme Court Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla and Shrikant Poudel had ordered the petition to be listed for regular hearing.

Attorney General Sabita Bhandari Baral had decided to withdraw the money laundering and organized crime cases filed against Lamichhane.

Advocates Yubaraj Poudel, Dinesh Tripathi and Abhas Regmi had filed separate writ petitions in the Supreme Court challenging the decision.
