The newly elected members of the House of Representatives (HoR) have taken the oath of office and secrecy.
The senior member of the House of Representatives, Arjun Narasingh KC, administered the oath of office and secrecy to the members. They took the oath at the multi-purpose hall of the federal parliament at Singha Durbar.
Earlier on Wednesday, President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office to the senior member, KC.
There is a provision that the senior member who takes the oath from the President administers the oath to the remaining members of the parliament.
