The US has carried out an airstrike on a major weapons depot in Isfahan, Iran.

According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, the US attacked Iran on Monday night using a 2,000-pound bunker-buster bomb.

The newspaper quoted a US official as saying, “A depot containing a large amount of weapons and military equipment was targeted.”

Bunker-buster bombs are used to destroy fortified and underground targets.

After the attack, the weapons stored in the depot exploded. This caused a massive fire at the scene.

US President Donald Trump has also released a video of the explosion on social media.

Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal also published a report saying, “Trump is ready to end the war against Iran without opening the Strait of Hormuz.”
