PN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli will continue to remain at Tribhuvan University (TU) Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj. He is currently under medical observation, shared the hospital's spokesperson Dr Gopal Sedhai.

Though Oli's health condition is normal, he has been found to have been carrying gallstones and a urinary tract infection,

It may be noted that the former Prime Minister was arrested by police from his residence in Bhaktapur last Saturday in connection with the implementation of the recommendations by the Commission formed to investigate the September 8 and 9 GenZ movement.

Before he could be produced before the Court, Oli was admitted to the teaching hospital, citing health complications.

NC leader and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak remains in detention after being arrested for the same charges. The Commission has recommended prosecution against both the leaders on criminal offense.
