Leader of the CPN (UML) Parliamentary Party, Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' has demanded for an impartial investigation into the incidents of destruction of public property, vandalization of physical structures and arson attacks took place during the Gen Z uprising on September 8 and 9, 2025.

Speaking in the first meeting of the first session of the House of Representatives today, he demanded an investigation and also alleged that the violent activities during the movement were carried out in a planned manner.

UML Vice Chair Thapa congratulated the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) for securing victory in the election and emerging as the largest party in parliament.

He stated that although the election to the House of Representatives placed the UML as a small party, they will move forward by facing challenges.
