Former Minister Deepak Khadka remained to 7 more days in custody

Former Minister Deepak Khadka has been remanded to seven more days in custody for additional investigation.

Judge Jagat Paudel of the District Court Kathmandu permitted to keep Khadka in five days in custody for investigation.

Minister Khadka had been arrested in money laundering case on March 29.

Earlier, the court had permitted to keep him in custody for seven days for investigation.

He was remanded to custody as the Department of Money Laundering Investigation has yet to complete its inquiry, including the recording of statements and the collection of evidence.
