Indian Ambassador pays courtesy call on Foreign Minister Khanal, conveys Delhi's greetings

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava has paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal.

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Indian Ambassador Srivastava conveyed the greetings from the Minister for External Affairs of India, S Jaishankar, to Khanal on his appointment as the Foreign Minister of Nepal, according to the Foreign Ministry.

Foreign Minister Khanal and Ambassador Srivastava discussed various issues related to the bilateral relations between Nepal and India during the meeting that lasted for about half-an-hour.

"Various matters relating to Nepal-India relations and cooperation were discussed on the occasion," the Foreign Ministry mentioned on X.

Khanal had been appointed as the Foreign Minister of Nepal on March 27.
