Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Thapa is going to Janakpur for a review program on the provincial election results of the party.
NC is going to hold a program with the participation of President Thapa in Janakpur, the capital of Madhesh Province, to review the issue of the failure to produce the expected results in the House of Representatives elections held on March 5.
Thapa is going to visit Madhesh Province for the first time today after losing the elections to Dr Amresh Kumar Singh of Rastriya Swatantra Party in Sarlahi 4.
According to Congress Joint General Secretary Yogendra Chaudhary, President Thapa is scheduled to go to Sarlahi 4 after the provincial election review program.
Chaudhary said that President Thapa will participate in the review programs to be held in all provinces along with candidates from the region, regional presidents, district presidents, provincial presidents, provincial central members, proportional candidates, and provincial office bearers.
After Janakpur in Madhesh Province, Nepali Congress has organized election review programs in Pokhara on April 10, Butwal on April 12, Dhangadhi on April 16, Hetauda on April 20, Biratnagar on April 22.
