Iran has accused the US of violating three conditions of the ceasefire agreement with the US, citing Israel's continued attacks on Lebanon.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf issued a statement saying that three conditions of the ten-point proposal had been violated.

The statement read, "The reason we do not trust the US is its long-standing habit of repeatedly breaking its promises. It is unfortunate - it has repeated its same trend again."

The Iranian parliament speaker further said in the statement, "The US president clearly stated that Iran's ten-point proposal is the 'basis' for negotiations. But so far, three parts of this proposal have been violated."

According to Iran, "The conditions for a ceasefire in Lebanon have not been met either. While the Prime Minister of the mediating country, Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, had also clearly said that a ceasefire should be implemented immediately in Lebanon and other areas.’

Iranian Speaker Ghalibaf further said, "The proposal on which negotiations were supposed to take place has been broken before the discussions began. In such a situation, a bilateral ceasefire or negotiations have no meaning."

It was reported that representatives from the United States and Iran, who agreed to a two-week ceasefire on Tuesday night, would meet in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Friday (April 10) to discuss permanent peace.

Here are the ten points proposal sent by Iran to the United States:

  1. Complete end to attacks: A demand has been made for the U.S. and Israel to stop all military strikes.
  2. Removal of all sanctions: A demand that all economic sanctions be lifted.
  3. Return of frozen assets: All frozen funds and assets must be returned.
  4. Permanent end to war: A demand for a complete end to the war, not just a temporary ceasefire.
  5. Withdrawal of us troops: Iran demands the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from bases located in the Middle East.
  6. Compensation: Provision for financial compensation or reconstruction for damages caused during the war.
  7. Control of the Strait of Hormuz: Iran must have control over the Strait of Hormuz.
  8. Safe passage with conditions: Ships will be allowed passage through the Strait of Hormuz, but only in coordination with the Iranian military.
  9. Transit fees for ships: Iran has proposed a fee of approximately $2 million per ship for passing through the Strait of Hormuz, which would be shared with Oman.
  10. End to regional conflicts: An end to regional attacks, including strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
