Labor Minister Deepak Kumar Sah relieved of his post

Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Deepak Kumar Sah has been removed within two weeks of his appointment as the minister.

Prime Minister Balendra Shah removed Labor Minister Sah from his post on Thursday. Prime Minister Shah's press expert Deepa Dahal informed that Prime Minister Shah has removed the Labor Minister from his post. Sah had courted controversies from all quarters after his wife Junu Shrestha was reinstated as a Health Insurance Board member.

It is reported that Prime Minister Shah has removed him from his post on the recommendation of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). He was appointed as a minister on March 27.

Sah was elected as an MP from Mahottari-2 in the House of Representatives elections held on March 5. A few days ago, he was also demoted to the bottom in the order of precedence in the Council of Ministers.
