Nepali Congress has called a meeting of its Central Disciplinary Committee.
Secretary Dinesh Thapa Magar informed that a meeting of the Disciplinary Committee has been called for Wednesday, (April 15). The meeting will take place at the Central Party Office in Sanepa at 11 am.
Similarly, the Central Work Execution Committee meeting has been called for Wednesday at 2 pm.
The disciplinary committee meeting will discuss the statement issued by the outgoing Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka, an NC source said. Earlier, Khadka had issued a statement claiming himself as the acting president.
The meeting of the NC Disciplinary Committee held around that time had decided to warn Khadka. After issuing a statement stating that he is the acting president again, a discussion will be held in the disciplinary committee meeting.
Besides, it is also learned that the complaints received against leaders and cadres, including those who filed candidacies against NC candidates and those who did not cooperate in the House of Representatives elections held on March 5, will also be discussed.
