Dorna Kumar Kuwar, a member of Nepali Congress Gandaki Province Assembly elected from Baglung, has resigned from his post.

Kuwar submitted his resignation to Speaker Krishna Prasad Dhital. It is reported that Kuwar resigned expressing dissatisfaction with the reorganization of the provincial cabinet.

However, NC's Baglung President Jit Sherchan, who was selected from this district, been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Kuwar did not disclose the reason in his resignation letter to Speaker Dhital. He thanked the voters who voted for him.

Kuwar, who resigned, could not be contacted, did he answer the call.

It is now up to the Speaker to accept his resignation or not. Speaker Dhital, however, has responded that he is not in hurry to accept his resignation. "I will consult with my party friends, I am in no hurry," Speaker Dhital told Nepalkhabar.
