Shram Sanskriti Party Chairman Harka Sampang has suggested that Home Minister Sudhan Gurung should step down.
Expressing his views at a press conference on Tuesday, Sampang said that Home Minister Gurung, who is embroiled in controversy, should step down. In response to a question from a journalist, Chairman Sampang said that Home Minister should not be involved in such controversies.
He said that since new allegations are coming up against Home Minister Gurung, it would be appropriate for everyone to pave the way for a resolution.
He suggested that resignation would be appropriate to resolve the ongoing controversy. "We’re hearing new allegations against the Home Minister time and again," he said. "At this point, it would be better for everyone if he stepped down and paved the way forward."
