Nepali Congress Koshi Province-level election review is being held in Biratnagar on Wednesday. Party President Gagan Thapa has reached Biratnagar to participate in the review program.

According to party Joint General Secretary Dila Sangraula, President Thapa reached Biratnagar at around 11 am. The program has been organized with the objective of strengthening the provincial-level organization, reviewing the election results and deciding on future strategies.

The program will be attended by the party's Koshi Province central  office bearers, central members, provincial working committee members, federal and provincial MPs, district presidents, regional presidents and candidates from the first-past-the post and proportional representation in the previous elections.

NC has been holding election review programs in various provinces of late. The party, which has already held similar review meetings in Gandaki, Lumbini, Bagmati and Madhesh provinces, is going to hold internal discussions in Koshi Province today on Wednesday.

The party leadership will collect first-hand suggestions from the local level to the provincial level on the status of the organization, election results, weaknesses and possibilities for improvement through the review program. There will be extensive discussions on upcoming political strategies, organization expansion, active membership, preparations for the 15th General Convention, and increasing the activism of cadres.

Joint General Secretary Sangraula added that the meeting will prioritize leadership management and organizational strengthening within the NC Koshi Province Committee.
