Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, held a phone call today with Nepal’s newly appointed Foreign Minister, Shisir Khanal, to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and addressing regional tensions.

Safadi congratulated Khanal on his new role, expressing a strong commitment to expanding cooperation between the two nations. The conversation centered on fostering a "friendly partnership" while working toward shared goals of stability and peace.

The high-level talk covered several critical regional issues, focusing on de-escalation following recent shifts in the geopolitical landscape, such as bilateral growth, regional de-escalation and regional peace.

Both ministers emphasized the importance of maintaining a dialogue to ensure that the current momentum toward a ceasefire leads to long-term tranquility in the region.
