Nepal Dalit Sangh President Bishwakarma resigns

Lok Bahadur Bishwakarma, the president of the Nepal Dalit Association, has resigned from his post.

Bishwakarma tendered his resignation to Nepali Congress president Gagan Thapa on Monday. He stated that he resigned due to family and physical problems.

He was nominated as the president of the Dalit Association by the then Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on October 13, 2005. He stated that despite resigning from the post of president, he will remain active in the activities of the Association.
