President Ramchandra Paudel has issued an ordinance on the Constitutional Council (functions, duties, powers and procedures).
The Office of the President has stated that President Paudel issued the Ordinance on Tuesday. Earlier, President Paudel had sent it back to the government for reconsideration.
The cabinet meeting held on Monday resent the Ordinance to the President again with some amendments.
Earlier, President Paudel had issued seven ordinances as of Monday. Only the ordinance on the Constitutional Council was yet to be issued.
