Three who attempted to rob jewelry shop at Indrachowk land in police net

Police have arrested three individuals on charges of attempting to rob a gold and silver shop at Bheda Singh in Indrachowk, Kathmandu.

On April 30, Babita Rauniyar, the owner of Naina and Ishan Jewelry, retaliated after the robbers attempted to rob their gold shop at gunpoint. They then fled.

SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, informed that they were arrested during the search and investigation of the incident.

The arrested are Hari Krishna Maharjan, 29, of Mahalaxmi Municipality-6, Lalitpur, Bikesh Rajbahak and Arun Bhujel of the same place.

"Bikesh Rajbahak and Arun Bhujel were arrested by our team," SP Bhattarai told Nepalkhabar, ‘"t seems that they were involved in various criminal activities that have occurred before. We are carrying out further investigation."

Maharjan was arrested by a team of the Criminal Investigation Office and Bibek and Arun were arrested by a team from the Kathmandu Range. The pistol used at the scene of the robbery has also been recovered in possession of Arun Bhujel.

Police have stated that Maharjan had also changed his appearance by taking off the clothes he was wearing during the robbery near the scene of the robbery.
