President Ramchandra Paudel has, on the recommendation of Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal, removed Secretary of the House of Representatives, Harkaraj Rai, from his post.
A press statement issued today by the Office of the President Spokesperson Ritesh Kumar Shakya states that Rai has been removed from the post of HoR Secretary.
The President removed him from his post as per Section 6 (e) of the Act relating to Remuneration, Conditions of Service and Benefits of the Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Secretary of the House of Representatives and Secretary of the National Assembly, 2075 BS, as recommended by the Speaker on May 11, adds the statement.
