There has been an uproar in Parliament after Speaker DP Aryal ordered the removal of UML MP Ram Bahadur Thapa's statement from the Parliament record.

After RSP MP Manish Khanal demanded that the statement made by UML MP Thapa in the Parliament meeting on Tuesday be removed from the record, Speaker Aryal had ruled that Thapa's statement be removed from the Parliament record.

Reacting to the Speaker's ruling, all the opposition MPs in the Parliament stood up and protested stating that it is 'unparliamentary' and 'undignified'.

Despite Speaker's urge to stop the protest and move forward with the Parliament meeting, the opposition MPs kept protesting.

Badal, who is also the UML Vice-Chair, had heavily criticized the Nepali Army in Tuesday's Parliament meeting.
