Prakash Adhikari has been appointed as the Secretary of the House of Representatives (HoR).
President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed Adhikari as the Secretary of the House of Representatives on the recommendation of Speaker DP Aryal.
Adhikari, a permanent resident of Khandbari Municipality-3 in Sankhuwasabha, is a retired civil servant from the post of Under-Secretary.
Speaker Aryal had recommended Adhikari's name as the Secretary after removing Harka Raj Rai from the position of Secretary.
There is a provision for the appointment and removal of the Secretary General of the Federal Parliament, Secretary of the House of Representatives and Secretary of the National Assembly by the President on the recommendation of the Speaker and the Chairman of the National Assembly.
