Nepali billionaire Binod Chaudhary has launched his book 'Made in Nepal' in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.
After launching his book' Made in Nepal amidst a special ceremony hosted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors on Saturday evening, Chaudhary mentioned on X, " Delighted to launch Made in Nepal in Sri Lanka - a platform to share experiences, lessons, and perspectives from decades of building businesses across international markets."
Chaudhary in his X message underlined the need to hold dialogues on innovation, leadership, and regional collaboration stating that the South Asia continues to emerge as a dynamic economic region.
"As South Asia continues to emerge as a dynamic economic region, conversations around innovation, leadership, and regional collaboration are more important than ever," Chaudhary mentioned on X.
The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID), Union Bank of Colombo PLC, Port City Colombo, and Daily FT jointly hosted the book launch ceremony yesterday.
"Special thanks to Dinesh Weerakkody, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors, for the warm hospitality and leadership in bringing together this engaging platform for dialogue," Chaudhary mentioned on X.

Prior to the book launch ceremony, Billionaire Chaudhary had presented a copy of his book to the President of Sri Lanka,
Made in Nepal is a testament to fearless risk-taking, covering Chaudhary’s ventures across more than 200 industries. It provides an intimate look at the origins of the CG Corp Global empire. The narrative tracks the relentless expansion of his business interests, most notably the iconic Wai Wai noodles, which now boasts a presence in markets as diverse as Serbia and Egypt.
The book had first been launched during a high-profile ceremony at the Banaras Literature Festival in the Indian holy town Varanasi. It is, however, yet to be launched in Nepal.
Chaudhary is currently in Sri Lanka for the book launch. Chaudhary has invested in Union Bank of Colombo and the 5-star hotel Taj Samundra in the capital of Sri Lanka.
