A team of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has seized vapes (electric cigarettes) worth Rs 60 million from New Road.
According to the Office, 28,500 illegal items (vapes) of various companies without invoices were seized from the Smile Your Choice shop operating in the underground of the RB Complex in Khichapokhari, Kathmandu-22, and the warehouse of Vepmandu Traders Pvt. Ltd. located in another building of the same complex.
In addition, the operator of the warehouse and shop, Navin Khadka, 32, a permanent resident of Mahalaxmi Municipality-8, Lalitpur, has been taken into custody and further investigation is underway, according to the police.
The estimated value of the seized vape is Rs 60 million, according to the Valley Crime Investigation Office.
