Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal is set to visit India immediately after the return of ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane.
Minister Khanal is scheduled to visit India on June 6-7 at the formal invitation of Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar.
Foreign Minister Khanal's visit to India has been scheduled while RSP President Lamichhane is on an India visit.
RSP Secretariat member Deepak Bohara, who is part of Lamichhane's India delegation, told BBC Nepali that a 'checklist' will be made for Foreign Minister Khanal's visit to India and work will be done on all issues of bilateral interest, accordingly.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Khanal had met his Indian counterpart Jaishankar during the 9th Indian Ocean Conference held in Mauritius.
