Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli have held a meeting at the prime minister's residence in Baluwatar on Saturday morning.
In the meeting, the two leaders dwelled on the government expansion, and the election of the speaker among other contemporary issues, the Prime Minister's Secretariat said.
CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was elected as the prime minister of Nepal on December 25. He has formed a small eight-member cabinet.
The election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives is scheduled to be held on January 19.
