The parliamentary party (PP) leader of main opposition Nepali Congress (NC), Bhishma Raj Angdembe, has met with President Ram Chandra Paudel this morning.
Angdembe held a meeting at the Office of the President in Sheetal Niwas. In the meeting that lasted for about an hour, leader Angdembe and President Paudel discussed latest political developments and parliamentary activities, Angdembe's secretariat said.
During the meeting, Angdembe also briefed the President about the incidents related to floods and landslides, flood victims, their rescue and rehabilitations.
Meanwhile, President Paudel underlined the need for political stability and more efficient parliament to pass crucial laws.
Similarly, Paudel called on all concerned parties to cooperate in the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the flood-hit victims.
