The newly appointed ministers have taken oath of office and secrecy amidst a special program organized at Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday. 

President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath to the ministers including Rajendra Lingden as Deputy Prime Minister.

Eight ministers including one state minister are from CPN (UML). Similarly, six ministers including one state minister and the prime minister are from CPN (Maoist center).

Likewise, three ministers including one state minister have been appointed from Rastriya Prajatantra Party. Two ministers and one state minister are from Rastriya Swatantra Party.

1. Bimala Rai Paudel- Minister for Foreign Affairs
2. Padam Giri- Ministry of Health and Population
3. Bhagwati Chaudhary- Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens 
4. Hari Upreti-Ministry of Defence

CPN (Maoist Center)
1. Rekha Sharma- Minister for Communication and Information Technology
2. Sudan Kirati- Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation
3. Amanlal Modi- Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration
4. Sushila Sripali- Minister of State for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation

Rastriya Swatantra Party
1. Dol Prasad Aryal- Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security
2. Shishir Khanal- Minister of Education,Science and Technology 
3. Tosima Karki- Minister of State for Health and Population

Rastriya Prajatantra Party 
1. Rajendra Lingden- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation
2. Dhruva Bahadur Pradhan- Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs
3. Bikram Pandey– Minister for Urban Development
