Maoist Center’s Tularam elected speaker, RPP’s Menuka deputy speaker in Lumbini

CPN (Maoist Center) leader Tularam Gharti has been elected as the speaker of Lumbini Province unopposed.  

Similarly, Menuka Khand of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has been elected as the deputy speaker.

A meeting of the province assembly held today appointed them to the respective posts.

Newly elected Tularam is the lawmaker from Palpa-2 (B). He had been elected from the same constituency in the previous elections, too.

He had become the chief whip of the Maoist Center then.
